Many people know it but few have explored all its facets. Because it fascinates children as much as adults, Dinant Citadel deserves to come high up on your list of sites to discover when you next visit the Ardennes.
Proudly perched on the Dinant rock, on the edge of the Meuse river in a green setting, between a city ambience and preserved nature, the beautiful Citadel tells its own story of a lovely passage in Belgian History. Built in 1818, this monument offers breathtaking views over the whole region. And what a region! Full of many possibilities, both in terms of cultural visits and culinary and festive offerings, Dinant is the dream location to organise an event, including for groups (20 people minimum) or to spend a few hours relaxing as a family.
You can enjoy the 3-in-1 package to discover the Citadel and go on the cable car that will take you to the centre of Dinant. The children will love the experience! Then take them on a cruise on the Meuse river or delve into the many activities offered by this unmissable site that you must (re)discover straight away.
